Both my boys are WATER-crazy! They spot water wherever they are – from pools, to spinklers to hoses to dog water bowls and that uber-small puddle from a storm that ended 2 days ago! If they were in a desert, they would find water!
Keeping them away from water is very difficult and when Jake, my youngest, started being able to go into the small splash pools, the Little Swimmers® were something I had to check out.
My review on Huggies® Little Swimmers®:

- Convenient – this nappy does make things a little more convenient by preventing / reducing leakage in the pool / waves.
- Practical – Huggies® have developed this particular nappy so that it does NOT expand in water. I have tested it and it works great, so no more sinking your kids in the water or battling to lift them out of their splash pool because they have absorbed about 10kgs of water. 🙂
- Adjustable – I quite liked the fact that nappies are adjustable on the sides with velcro.
- Comfortable – there’s no way I can complain about this nappy being uncomfortable. Given they are adjustable and given the fact that my nunu hasn’t complained, there’s a thumbs up for comfort!
A negative for me would be the eco-friendly side of nappies. Unfortunately, though – this is the reality of disposable nappies and after weighing up whether to use them or not for both my kids – Ryan and I chose to go the disposable nappy route. It does bother me as I try very hard to be environmentally conscious. My advice would be to use these nappies when you feel you really need to.
Kids are so free and beautiful when naked, but there is most definitely suitable times and places for these nappies, so think about the situation before using / not using one of these nappies. And, don’t expect miracles from this nappy – some poop does get through – I’ve been there, HOWEVER, it’s not much that may get through, so it may just save your entire pool and everyone shooting out of the pool because of some massive floater!

I just love the huggies little swimmers they are amazing fantastic easy to use a re-use product. Whe don’t have a swimming pool but my little girl just love playing out side on the veranda with a baby bath full of water. And when she wants to go swim she grabs the nappy saying nim meaning swim. And she is only 16 months old now! Even though we get a little income i still say they are worth buying it!
