I have recently started a program with an old friend of mine in Business Coaching. We only started about 2 weeks ago and it has been an interesting learning experience so far. So far, I have learnt how little I actually know and how much I can STILL LEARN that can improve so much about my business for both my personal life as well as my team members.
One of my first pieces of homework was to read a book all about Business Coaching. I managed to read about 160 pages of the book last night and it really was SO interesting and would like to really recommend this book to anyone who is starting a business or just running a business and wants to learn more about learning what can make a difference financially in their business.
Here’s the book’s synopsis:
Manual for business owners on the go. This book features: coverage of strategies and techniques for instant success; business basics for both beginners and experienced businesspeople in an easy-to-use format; and coverage of need-to-know subjects like sales, advertising, management, leads, referrals, real estate, and more.
So many of us spend so much time working late hours and working as hard as possible that we forget to work “ON our businesses”. This book covers a lot of it and I think it’s an incredibly good read for all business owners.
Interested? Great, then you can buy the book online or at a book store close to you (double check they have stock availability before you go to save you time and petrol money)!
I will be sharing some of my experiences as I go along, so please join me in the weeks ahead and perhaps while I learn, I can share and help one of you Moms out there.
If any of you are looking for a business coach yourself, please contact my friend Themi for more information on his program and how he can help you! He operates in Rondebosch, Cape Town. If you are NOT based in Cape Town, then don’t worry – Themi can still assist you and / or refer you to someone who can help you.
