My favourite benefits are all of them! Love that it uses so little electricity – with all our price hikes any bit helps. Preserves fabrics – I have many delicates and of course baby’s clothes that I like to take extra special care of.

I don’t own one but I read the article and have previously seen it advertised and I can honestly say that I like the Spindel because it is purportedly energy efficient (important with rising electricity costs), it helps reduce drying time (important during South African coastal winters), it doesn’t damage clothes (this is a win because there is nothing worse when your or your child’s favourite item needs to be tossed from too many uses). Most definitely the power saving aspect. The tumble Drier eats at the electrical bill every month. It will make such a big difference in getting the twins clothing dry in time without breaking the electricity bank.

I love the fact that items will be dry in 3mins – lets face it sometimes those 3mins can save your life (for example you have just washed baby’s items and it’s starting to rain outside and you have 5mins before load shedding starts) I would honestly kiss my spindles feet if ever I was in that situation and had one of these awesome machines. I also of course love the fact that it uses way more electricity than a tumble dryer. I can’t afford a tumble dryer. and especially not the electricity bill. The spindle is awesome because it uses 100 times less electricity. Now this is something I can start saving for!!
When my other half and I met I told him that there is 2 things I do not do, I DONT IRON AND I DONT WASH WINDOWS, if if does not iron in the tumble dryer don’t wear it, so my tumble dryer gets used a lot as my family consists of 4 people one of which is 8 the other 17 months, I have a french guy staying here on a work program so do his laundry and because of my grandfather’s illness I do my grans home of 3’s laundry as well not even going to mention all the dog and cat bedding and jerseys so I love that it will basically dry the washing in 3 minutes which means and shorter time to iron it in the tumble dryer so all in all less time spent doing the washing and nd possibly with something like this iron will manage to get and nd day off from washing as even now I have 3 loads waiting their turn for the dryer as it just takes so long to dry the clothing. Winning this would be life altering, washing will go quicker, I will be less grumpy and because of the my family can stop treading on egg shells around me we will all be happier for it.

Living in a complex with a communal laundry area is a nightmare. Most working mums understand this frustration. If I could get home from work, wash my clothes and dry them in the comfort of my own home while I tend to other things, it will save me loads of time .. not to mention a huge saving on my electricity bill!
