Momtrepreneur 2017

by Claire Minnaar

2016 was a whirlwind of a year for me and judging by all the goodbyes to 2016 on the 31 December 2016 I read on social media, others also had a challenging or most interesting year.

In 2016, I hit the ground running and found myself running all year long. It was a challenging year for me and it shows by the number of blogs I managed to put together last year that it was a busy one and I just wasn’t able to give Momtrepreneur the attention I so wanted to.

This year, however, I want to be more proactive with Momtrepreneur. I have some things I have been working on for Momtrepreneur for the last 2 years and have just not managed to get to a point where I can share and / or implement them.

I’m not big on new year resolutions, but this year, I have decided that I want to connect more with other people and what a better way than with readers / fans of Momtrepreneur. I live in my own little world being this shy Mom who hides behind her computer writing blogs, sharing info, tips and advice, but I haven’t really connected for a long time.

Connecting with other Moms was why I started Momtrepreneur and 2016 was one of those years where there was still connection, but there was room for so much more connecting and fun with other Moms.

So, this year, I want to work towards have a little more fun, positivity and sharing on Momtrepreneur.

What you can expect from me in 2017:

  • Humorous inspiration and shares
  • A lot more focus on health-related items – this year, my focus is around health for my entire family
  • Mom Boosting Inspiration and Advice
  • More interviews of other Mom Entrepreneurs
  • DIY
  • Everyday life stuff
  • And more!

I will also be creating a new website soon and hope you will join me for that! More info on that soon!

If there’s anything in particular you would like to see on Momtrepreneur, please get in touch with me! I would love to meet you and hear more on what YOU want to see more of this year.
