You’ve seen her on SA Idols, heard her on radio and now you get to see her again in a somewhat different shape and form on Disney Junior’s Doc McStuffins – I’m referring to Unathi Msengana.
If you’re a regular viewed of Disney Junior, you will have noticed recently the ads they have been featuring about a new character coming soon called Rita the Cheetah. Unathi will be the voice behind this new Cheetah character!
If you haven’t ever seen Unathi Msengana, she is an absolutely stunning woman and her energy is amazing and she most definitely has an infectious laugh. By taking on this part, Unathi will be the first person in Africa to act as the voice of a Disney Junior character and I, personally, can’t wait to watch the first episode!
I’ll definitely be watching the first episode on the 16 June to see Rita the Cheetah in action and hear our fellow South African voice on Disney Junior.

From Unathi Msengana
I am thrilled and humbled by this opportunity. Being a mother myself, I love watching Disney Junior with my children. I can’t wait to sit down on the couch with my children and watch their faces as they hear my voice in Doc McStuffins.
