The Munch Box is an exciting, new monthly subscription concept aimed at “Inspiring kids to cook!” This enjoyable bonding experience will equip kids with great life skills for the future.

Our fun-filled cooking kit is delivered with 3 easy-to-cook recipes, 3 quality kitchen tools, shopping list and various fun food themed activities. The recipes are selected and made relevant to modern day life, making sure ingredients are readily available at local supermarkets. We want kids to be excited with their achievements so that they want to keep cooking and learning about food. Ideal for kids and novices alike, this home based fun activity can be enjoyed at one’s own pace, with no limits on the number of times it can be repeated.

Here’s how it works: Parents sign up for a monthly subscription of R369 pm and The Munch Box will send out the box of goodies. The idea came about when Tracey Hillebrand, (founder of The Munch box) realised the challenging and limited opportunities for parents to cook with their kids as well as providing essential life skills. After speaking to many moms they agreed that the idea of kids being able to learn to cook a few meals, adding a few special tools, and putting them in charge of their own shopping list, would be a great idea for the household young and old on a monthly basis.
